Contest Rules
2026 edition · Reference number: [to be assigned]
This initiative is structured as a selection of photographic works recognising artistic merit and does not constitute a prize competition or prize operation under art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of Italian Presidential Decree 430/2001: the prize is a recognition of the author's personal merit, not a consideration nor a sales-promotion tool. Any tax treatment of the prize is assessed by the Organiser under the applicable law.
Art. 1 — Organiser

Eligible entries are photographic works bearing the author's personal creative imprint, taken on board or in the immediate vicinity of Violante, portraying life on board and the experiences enjoyed during the holiday. The contest values the artistic, creative and narrative quality of the shot. The following photos are not accepted:
- photos portraying minors;

Eligible photos may be published, with the participant's consent, in the stories of the @violante.sardegna Instagram profile. A selection of the photos, at the Organiser's sole discretion, may also be published in the feed. There is no guarantee that all photos will be published, nor that publication will occur at a specific time.
Art. 7 — Winner selection
The winner is chosen at the sole and unquestionable discretion of the owner, possibly assisted by a panel of people competent in photography, on the basis of purely artistic, aesthetic, creative and narrative criteria and of consistency with the spirit of the contest, as recognition of the author's personal merit. There are no mechanisms of chance, popular vote, automatic scoring or rankings based on likes or shares: the number of likes, followers or shares has no bearing whatsoever on the outcome. The assessment concerns solely the artistic value of the work. The decision is final and unquestionable.
The winner will be contacted by email by 24 December 2026 and announced on Christmas Day, 25 December 2026, on the @violante.sardegna profile.
Art. 8 — Prize
The prize is: one week's charter of the entire Violante catamaran (bareboat) in low season, with a maximum commercial value of €5,000. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash. Any travel costs to reach the port of embarkation are borne by the winner. The winner must indicate their preferred week within 30 days of notification, subject to actual boat availability and to meeting the bareboat charter requirements.
The prize is solely a recognition of the artistic merit of the author of the selected work and a token of encouragement towards artistic value; it is not a consideration and is not connected to the purchase or sale of goods or services.
Art. 9 — Release and image rights

The participant grants the Organiser a non-exclusive, free, indefinite right to use the submitted photos for promotional purposes on social channels (Instagram, Facebook) and on the Violante website, crediting the participant's name (or Instagram account). Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to violante@eliteescape.it; withdrawal does not affect use already made.
